Big Kate and Joey B.

Haha. I love this pic.

But I hate that the weekend is over. Blarg.

It's really nice to have Joe here full time on the weekends. We have a lot of fun hanging out together, and I am guaranteed a foot rub EVERY DAY. Yes, ladies, read it and weep. Ah, but seriously, the companionship of being here together...it's very nice.

The weekend was good. I guess not a lot to it. We hit an inexpensive Thai place on Friday night and rented a Redbox move for $1.06 with tax. HECK YEAH. Unfortunately the movie was "Don't Mess with the Zohan." I know Adam Sandler's humor, but this one was too over the top, and his stupid accent that was supposed to be Middle Eastern sounded French. I had to listen to that for nearly two hours and wanted to scream. Later in the weekend we watched a movie that I had DVR'd - "Eastern Promises." Not only did Viggo Mortenson pull off a Russian accent, but he also spoke Russian AND...AND had an entire fight seen in the buff. It was incredible, especially because you didn't even focus that much on his junk, as the fight seen was so intense. I dunno that it was that great a movie on the whole, but he should have gotten the Oscar for just having his wee wee out like that. It was insane.

But anyway. The crappy part about the weekend was that I went to bed Friday night with my back locking up, and as the night progressed, sleep positions turned from comfortable to barely tolerable. Now, before you start thinking Joe and I did some sort of whacked out sex shit, know this: We did NOT. Instead, I have this thing where my stress manifests itself in locking up my neck and back. It's possible I've blogged about it before, but this was by far the worst case of it I've ever had. I woke up in the night wanting to cry it hurt so bad, and the next day was bascially my own version of non stop PT/stretching it out. I actually thought I was going to have to go to the doctor. To.freaking.young. Today, though, it was much better, and I'm confident tomorrow will be even more so. I do want to say that Joe was good to take care of me, and I was glad that if something was going to go wrong it was while he was here.

Um. This is boring. But whatever. Tonight was good. Another couple came over, and we carved pumpkins and ate dinner. Nothing fancy, but it was good to hang out with some folks that included another girl. Being around just Army dudes get old...and brings out an interesting side of Joe [that I dont't always care to see.] But anyway.

So we really didn't get any more unpacking done, nor did Joe's bonus come through. OMG BBQ TTYL FUCK FUCK FUCK. It's gonna end up being some kind of Christmas Vacation ordeal where Joe kidnaps someone from the finance department. All I can tell you is that my getting a dog depends on that damn money. And I REALLY want a dog. Also, I don't want to start working until we have a dog, and I've been able to be home with it for a bit. I can't get a dog with a jelly of the month membership. Nope.

Wow, I just realized my life plan right now revolves around a dog. I think that's where this ends for the night. My efforts at being a humorist have failed here. However, I want you to know...this is my current favorite video/song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pY8jaGs7xJ0. Check it out.

yeah, leslie's dog is badass. apparently, though, she's rarely that calm and sweet. i do believe the dead shoe count has reached double didgets in her house. when we get a dog, it's going to be at least a year old or more. mmhmm.

I get that anxiety back-pain on occassion too. What helps me is beer & soaking in a bubble bath. Just gotta relax! Hee hee

Yeah, guys are unconscious. That's why Joe's clothes that I washed and folded are not put away. Also, I think the military has a lot to do with back pain. WHERE IS OUR BONUS? TLE? DITY MOVE MONEY? DLA? SEPARATION BACK PAY?? Idiots. A dog would help my demeanor tremendously. Or maybe two. There are two black lab puppies that I could get ASAP. They are cute, but yes, I do really like my shoes. As for the beer and bubble bath. I did an epson salt bath instead...and had a beer the following day. :-) Almost good as new.
