So a couple days ago I found out Joe had today off, and so I ended up getting it off as well. Because I'm an awesome wife. Of course, the Army changed things, requiring Joe to go in for a quick minute this morning to pick up his new gear. No biggie. I was gonna roll in there with him in an effort to continue stealing away every minute we can at this point. And then the phone rings this morning and now there's small pox paperwork to be done as well. Oh, and Joe remembered he needs to re-organize a few of his things at the office as well. Piss. So I'm here. Awake. Out of cereal and sipping on yesterday's coffee (which isn't that bad if you have a thermal carafe.) On the bright side, this shit is completely beyond my control, but it isn't causing me a near panic attack. Just some irritation. Like a rash. My Army rash. I should make a website. MyArmyRashToo.com
Okay. Now I'm out of things to talk about. Sort of. I've been working since I got back from Ari's wedding, and it has been slammed. I'm getting burned out, which is causing some good - I'm becoming very direct with my patients (and trust me, most of them need that). However, I come home exhausted. I still haven't caught up on rest since the move. Plus, I haven't gotten back into the cooking mode, so we've been eating kinda poorly, and I haven't been getting much physical activity in at all. I have a plan to start going to the gym regularly when Joe is gone, which is a shame. We're turning into the couple that can't be healthy together. I blame it on the move. The house is much better but still not completely put away, and y'all know a messy house bleeds into the rest of your life. Which is really not good when you spend most of your time away from home at a mental hospital. Damn. But that reminds me, if you're ever offered LSD, DON'T DO IT.
With that, the best use of my time right now would probably be to stop bitching on here and start unpacking and cleaning a bit more. Happy Friday. And hey, Ma - do you even read this shit anymore??!!

Ugh the Army is like a rash. A rash that won't go away! Yuck! I hope you guys get to spend some time together and have a great weekend!
The rash extends to the Air Force too. I hope you get some time with Joe. Is he going TDY? Anywho, have fun unpacking!
Go Katie Go!
I guess as long as we look at it as a rash instead of a horrible disease, life is good. Nope, not TDY. :-/
Thanks! Why are we so much harder on ourselves in the said situation and they would be having a grand ole time? Oh well, the best IS all we can do. Hope you have a fantastic week!
