Vogue

Lu was being a little model for me earlier tonight.  She's even got the skinny thing going.  It's her miscellaneous breed genes - gets it honest.  Pretty girl. 

The other day I was talking to my sister.  We have very different days, as she is busy morning to night with dental school, and I am of course me.  Arielle commented to me that if she had time for a hobby, she'd try quilting, which made me wonder what the hell hobby should I be trying while I have the time.  Well, I figured why not use the damn camera we spent our Christmas budget on so it doesn't sit the whole time Joe is gone.  So that's what I'm doing - I'm trying.

In other important news, I learned a vital beauty tip the other day that was as Oprah says an "ah ha" moment for me:  When you're putting on your facial lotion, don't put it on your eyebrows.  Now, I never put my day time moisturizer on my eyebrows, but at night I'd slop it on and get ready for bed to hurry up and get ready for bed.  Well now, the lotion can clog the hair follicles and prevent eyebrow hair from going back as well.  HOLY HELL.  I wish someone would have told me that ten years ago.  Life changing, as I need all the eye brow hair grow-back I can get. 

With that, the weekend is nearly here and another week done.  I'm getting together with my BFF here, which is wonderful because I've had very minimal human contact this week.  Also, I may go get my taxes done on post tomorrow....and buy a new blender.  Big day.
