Whole Lotta Nothin'

Bah.  I never have anything cool to write about anymore.  Maybe if as small things happened, I took the time to write and really record everything that goes through my mind, I could turn nothing into something (hilarious).  But, I don't.

Tomorrow's already hump day.  Woohoo.  Some days are kind of long without the eventual return of Joe from work in the evenings.  I've never been unemployed while he's been gone for a long stretch.  It's different.  I want to do more than just get through the days, but some days that's all you can do.  That was a lot of last week - between blah and bad weather, I just didn't give a damn.  Over the weekend, though, I got out and had some friend time.  Even when at home, I cleaned this place up pretty well.  Today was good too.  The sun was out, and despite a lingering headache (2-3 days all day and all night), I got out and ran my errands, did chores at home (back yard poo pick-up anyone?), cooked myself dinner (Thai chicken noodle soup), and worked out.  And with all that, my headache is gone.  KNOCK ON WOOD.  I think it was tension, and the more I did, the more of course got done and the less I had to worry about.  Who knew.

Luckily, one thing I haven't had to worry about much is talking to Joe.  He calls quite a bit, though today announced that things were finally cranking up over there.  The emails have already stopped, so we'll see how frequent the phone calls continue to be.  Ah well.  One of the perpetually single guys that is slightly psychotic and thinks much more of himself than anyone else does emailed a bunch of the other dudes informing them that it's not hard to take ten minutes out of every day and have some type of communication with your significant other.  And that my friends, is what you call a personality disorder - not the message itself, but the thinking you're both important and savvy enough to be relaying that type of information.  Oh guy.  We do just fine.  Anyhow, happily, Joe did get the box I sent him, and despite Ms. Linda from the PO as well as the curiously large bottle of fluoride mouth wash that was in it, the thing arrived intact.  Success.

You're doing fine, girl. Just take it one day at a time. If you have days you just feel like staying in your pjs and be lazy, DO IT! Nothing wrong with that. I find it helps my mental state if I have a week-long to-do list too. I don't have to acommplish everything in one day. :) xoxoxo

How is your smoothie-a-thon going? I need to get more smoothies in my life. I've been on a back track the last few weeks. I need to clean up my act!

Ryan finally got a package I sent almost 3 weeks ago, today. Supposidly you can't send tobacco products anymore (no idea if Joe is a tobacco kind of guy) which is lame but will save me from the awkward stares I get when buying dip.
