1. I voted. I almost cried while doing it because Maddie started to go berserk. I filled out half my ballot while half bent over with one hand in hers while she sat in her stroller. It ended with me holding her (and her still freaking out), and I really have no idea of certain things I voted for. It sounds bad, but uh, what can ya do.
2. Two and a half days left until we go to Missouri. Gulp. I already had a dream that I got into a fight with my parents...about someone taking a shower out of order, and I was the one in trouble. Meh.
3. I'm allergic to this place. Seriously, every day is a near sinus infection because of all the dust. Eight-ish months left.
4. I have decided to continue exercising. Joe can feel about himself all he wants, but I'm going to move forward. I drove to the park today to run, and only made it a mile and a half. I think I ate too close to the run, and I needed to pee as well (but the bathrooms were completely surrounded by bees). At least Maddie got to play on the playground when we were done...except that she was obsessed with the jobbing stroller and didn't do anything on the playground. I later did free weights for my arms, shoulder, and back. Booya.
5. Turns out Maddie is not napping right now and started making noise back in her crib, literally, right as Joe walked out the door for his run.
6. Weather news is all about how much it's going to cool down this weekend (snow in the mountains even)....when we're not here.
7. Don't smoke at a public park right next to the kids' playground. You pathetic old ass.
8. Hot spiced wine is AWWWWWESOME. We've been drinking it in the evenings, and it's cozy. I wasn't sure, but I highly recommend it.
9. Something good about this place is the German bakery. There's your positive. And Susan, if you read this, I did get my nougat ring yesterday. I ate it while taking a bath so Joe couldn't see.
10. One day I'm going to take an awesome vacation. If not with Joe, then by myself.

Mmm, spiteful desserts. And good on you for continuing the exercise. Get those happy endorphins flowing!
