Tomorrow is FRIDAY!

It's still early in my pregnancy, though I'm almost halfway, but lots of gals seem to be already experiencing heartburn, which I don't really have...yet.  That said, I would loooove some chips, salsa, and queso right now.  I just read some food items on another blog, and man, I have a hankering now.  Of course today was Cinco De Mayo, aka Thursday, as I had no plans, and ate Mexican twice last week.  Now I'm wishing for the aforementioned food and to watch someone drink a margarita.  Yeah. 

I also wish I could show everyone my right boob.  So beyond anything sensual (don't tell Joe), and more from a biological standpoint, the vein going on the side of it is intense right now.  Granted veins all across my chest are more prominent, but this vein was so bright that I could almost not bare to look at it.  Other than my body looking weird and getting bigger, not being able to sleep on my back or stomach, no booze or caffeine (makes me shake too much when I have it now), etc and still not feeling the baby moving, I really don't feel that pregnant right now.  I shall enjoy this while it lasts.  (The baby is alive, though, as I had my 20 week u/s last week at 18 wks, and all is normal and looking good.)

Finally, today was a good day.  I had lunch with a friend, and then shopped a bit.  Whoops.  Took my motherhood maternity pants that I bought for $5 at a consignment shop to get tailored for only $13 - still a steal!  Played with the dogs, and cleaned up the poop in the yard.  Took a walk in the evening, and I finally remembered to pay the phone bill.  The bad part of today is that Jan is back in the hospital for the third time in about a month.  As you know, she has a neurological disorder, and things aren't great right now.  Think good thoughts.  Hopefully she starts feeling better quick and can go home.  Still, tomorrow is Friday, and I think we can all be glad about that!
