Dude, damn it. I even finished the last post with "Knock on wood." Turns out that Joe started chewing while deployed and has been chewing discretely since he got back. He made it seem as though he only opened a can at the end and then brought the can home with him just to finish off. And then that would be it. No more. After I realized he was still chewing this morning, I let him know no more and even had an intervention of sorts on Facebook. He actually appreciated that and wasn't mad. Uhhhh, then as the evening progressed and the last of his dip wore off, so did the fantastic and helpful mood he's been sporting since he got home.
OH.MY.GAHHHHH. He was basically trying to pick a fight with me and taking everything I said the wrong f'ing way. (Who's the pregnant chick??) There was even a massive freak due to the fish not grilling correctly for dinner. Somehow I stayed calm and did my own thing. He came to me after doing some research on nicotine withdrawal and apologized for acting an ass. Seems that the next few days are going to suck for everyone. Good thing he didn't quit before he came back. Welcome fucking home.

Eww...I'd totally hate it if my husband started chewing. He used to be smoker when we first met said he'd never quit but after a year of being together I said it was me or the cigs. He's no longer a smoker haha.
I'm sorry that he freaked out on you but I've heard that stuff is a bitch to step away from once it's in your system. I know you're the one that's pregnant & needs support but right now he's gonna need it too. Well, support and some Nicotine patches will help too ;)
Hope it gets better soon.
Ryan tried to hide being a smoker when we first started dating. He still smokes, which isn't my cup of tea, but it's not my mouth and he knows not to come near me after. Gross! He occasionally would chew while playing video games. I believe this was just out of pure laziness though. I hope he quits one day, but as long as he doesn't smoke around our kids, I can handle it. I say that now. Ask me again when we have kids!
