Thank God for Susan

If she had not texted me to let me know Wanda Sykes' new show is on, I would have missed a brilliant skit regarding going green with one's dildos. Oh man. Awesome.

It's been a minute since I've written. Lots going on. I know we've all been thinking of Ft. Hood. I continue to pray for all involved. As I've said before, when something like this happens, it seems like the world should stop. But it doesn't. I guess we're meant to move forward (of course).

So as the world keeps rolling along, so does my life. Part of this last week was pretty hectic at work. One of the first times I actually felt like crying and walking out. It was just SOOO busy, and I didn't have any help. I made it, though. Even if I was delirious the next day. The week was sandwiched between two pretty good weekends. Last weekend I went to a Pure Romance party, and since I spent $100 (oops) I got a free toy. Serving booze was genius on my friend's part. I hung out on Halloween and went over to a friend's house for a movie and wine. On the way out of my neighborhood, I literally drove a "creep" due to all the kids out. If I'm home next year, I'm really gonna have to stock up. Jesus. This weekend has been spent being all sorts of productive. Yesterday I friggin' dusted, vacuumed, mopped, laundered all by noon. Insane. Today, I painted a ceiling and prepped the walls for color tomorrow...after I paint the damn trim. I am determined to actually "move in" to this house. It's our home, damn it!!!

Huh. It seemed like I had more to say, but now I have no idea. I'm so freakin' tired, and my neck and shoulders hurt from ceiling painting. Next time I check out a ceiling in a cathedral, I'll be wayyy more respectful. Shit, I can't keep my eyes open as I'm reading this. Bedtime.. I'll check the spelling and grammar tomorrow, so don't eat me alive, Arielle.
