I just googled "relaxing routines before bed," and amidst all the yoga poses and otherwise soothing pictures was the one above. I like it. It speaks to me.
Yesterday I had back to back tension headaches. I woke up in the middle of the night with the second one, and it was awful - the kind where you can't get still and want to cry and call your mom. I seriously considered it as I simultaneously tried to relax my mind and body by way of massaging my own neck and holding a cold compress to my head. Somehow I finally got still and passed out. Throughout today I've taken multiple steps to avoid another headache, though now that night is again upon me and bedtime not far away, I'm paranoid I'll wake up in horrible pain again. My plan is to write this blog, do some breathing and shoulder relaxing exercises, then read until I pass out. It's a wild Saturday over here, y'all.
Honestly, I'm wiped out from the dog park. There were so many dogs today; I'd say twenty-something. The sun alone got me but constantly making sure Dexter wasn't raping and pillaging didn't help. While tiring, it was good to meet up with some friends, and I know the pups enjoyed seeing their friends as well. They've been cashed since we got home, and they've each cuddled with Mama!!
Despite my neighbor thinking I never leave my house (wtf?), it's been a hectic week seeing Joe off and then running a ton of errands in the days between then and now. I'm excited that tomorrow I may not leave the house at all, except to walk or maybe go to the gym in the AM (damn). The Flyers finally play on a channel I get and then immediately following that are back to back football games. Amidst all the sports I plan to finally clean the rest of the house and get our new wolf pack of three routine down. I watched enough Dog Whisperer today to know that Dexter really isn't that fucked up and that I have a pretty bitchin' pack. Also, does anyone else loooooove NCIS as much as I do?

Ugh headaches are the worst. I'm a migraine kind of lady. I can't belive yours woke you up in the middle of the night though. That's awful!
I don't like leaving my house sometimes too. I'm always so busy running around, that just staying in and being lazy is the best. thing. ever. Feel better!
I like the idea of you, Dexter, and Lulu being a wolfpack. It makes me smile. :)
